If the post pubertial slow down doesn't happen you get gigantism. Giants due to this have musculoskeletal problems including arthritis. I've met a few.

Just gotta say that injecting yourself with random growth hormone (that may not even be human) to impress other dudes at the gym is probably the silliest thing I've ever heard.
