Stemming from another post where members cried to a mod, this is a serious question and is general discussion and debate.

I think if someone just kills themselves it is ignorant, cowardish, and selfish.

Not only do you kill yourself you hurt many other people.

Maybe after many years of therapy and nothing working for you, you might not be able to control yourself.

This being said the person I am talking about was young, beautiful, and had a LOT OF FRIENDS, she had a whole life ahead of her and I am sure she would have been able to work things out.

What is your take?

Its all about free will. Each person makes their own decisons with or without consideration of others.

Suicide definitely hurts those left behind, but I think everyone experiences things differently. Some people are more resilient than others. Even if I've experienced the exact same trauma as someone else, doesn't mean I'll cope with it in the same way. Sometimes people get tiring of fighting for years and years. I can understand why people get tired of fighting their demons.

some people might have the most perfect life but all it takes is an imbalance in their brain to set these kinds of things off, and often talking to someone (especially against their will) isn't going to change it. you have no right to judge them.

Suicide sucks and knowing someone that committed suicide is even worse. A good friend of mine took his life because his girlfriend broke up w/him and he was up to his neck in credit card dept. He was our high school prince and king, and all the women loved him. He tried electricuting himself in the tub, that didn't work, so he went into his bedroom, turned the music up full blast, put a 12 gauge shotgun to the bottom of his jaw and pulled the trigger. What was even worse was that his parents were chillin in the living room when it happened.

Actually we have every right to judge people. I can form an opinion on anything I want, it's a right that no one can take from me.
