from the BMW dealer... they offered me the Laguna Seca Blue car that the #2 customer didn't want, he chose to buy the LSB demo car instead of waiting another month to get his car.

I passed, since my allocation should come up later this month... I'm ordering the Phoenix Yellow instead!

I'm giddy in anticipation... looks like my S2000 days are numbered tho.

Loki, I admire you passion for this car...it's an amazing motorcar.

But yea, that blue is gnarly!

I think I saw a new yellow one late this afternoon. I like the Ferrari yellow...it's YELLOW. This was greenish and well, a little subdued in comparison...

I hear that blue isn't quite as nasty in person, but in photos, it's a weird expression of blue. I look forward to seeing one in person...(well, sorta)

Greg,

Believe it or not that blue pic I posted is fairly representative of the color when I saw it. Not as bad as some say but I still wouldn't drive it around myself.

I too like the Ferrari Yellow (fly?) but unfortunately I can't afford that 360 Spyder right now.

The Phoenix Yellow does have green in it, but I don't mind it... I was worried that it would be too mustardy based on other photos I've seen and the swatch at the dealership. However in person it's quite stunning, real attention grabber... and because it's metallic and light, it'll keep clean and have those great fleck highlights.

I was very tempted to sell my first manual spot but I think I'm going to keep it until my other slot for SMG materializes! Manual M3 in June, and then a SMG unit in October!!! <g>

I have all my M3 contracts written at MSRP... placed my deposits around last Aug/Sept.

I do have a third deposit on the rumored M3 GTR (#1) but it'll unlikely rear it's head in the US. Plus even more unlikely to be a street version.

Me neither. They need to add the dark metallic blue from the M5!

That has to be the most hideous blue they have....do they offer it in the same dark blue as the 328s?
