Default Just shocking

So I use these crappy headphones at my office to listen to Howard off an on throughout the day, and they're constantly shocking me. The wires have cracks throughout them and now I understand why the were cost a buck in the bargain bin.

You know what's worse than getting a shock from static when you touch something? GETTING SHOCKED THROUGH THE INSIDE OF YOUR EAR.

I've tried repairing them with scotch tape because I never remember to pick up a new set, but it never works. Today I looked at them and noticed the name printed on them:

In case you can't read it, it says "Electra"
Funny? Not really, but I chuckled. Then I got shocked again.

There's a fix for this problem. It's called the trash can.

Yeah, yeah I know the solution

Maybe I'll wrap up the cord nicely and give em to the new guy for whom we didn't have speakers for when he started. It's kind of funny actually, they'll start shocking you a little, and if you stand up without removing them from your ear then the static from the super dry air compounds to create monster shocks that people can hear from 10 feet away.
