Just Tried a Protein Bar
I fill a small tupperware container with a days worth of ISOPURE Zero carb Strawberry. I bring to work and gym. It mixes so easy with water that a styrofoam coffee cup and stir stick work great. It actually tastes Ok too. I could never do this with Designer or Optimum...waaay too lumpy.
The new Detour/U-Turn bars are good. I used to eat the BIG MetRX bars if I was traveling w/o a lunch. The Mint Choc Chip was like cookie dough but $$$. That bar was so big... it stuffed me.

Every "pure protein" bar I've tried is nasty.
Like others have said, the u-turn and detour bars taste almost exactly like a real candy bar.
My bar of choice right now is the EAS Myoplex lite cinnamon roll crisp. It doesn't have as much protein as other bars (only 15g), but it's pretty low in cal and it tastes great.

Lean Body bars are pretty good. Mint Choc. Chip, PBJ, and Cookies and Creme aren't bad. Like others have said, Detour, U-Turn and Oneway are very candybar-like and palatable too.

I have stayed away from the stuff ever since - what's the use of having a killer body if no-one wants to be around you
Just a question: if you are working out, and want a protein fix, what the hell is wrong with having a steak or something? Hell, a BK without the bun tastes better than a protein bar, and costs less, and is pretty much all protein, vs. a candy bar with "protein supplements." Do you really need to concern yourself with the very small amount of fat on a lean steak if you burn hundreds of calories in your sleep, considering you are wiling to consume sugars to make your protein bar palatable? What gives?
