now that the whole craziness got somehow "processed" in my brain,
i think i can share it with you guys without going all crazy.
last sunday some dude decided not only to snatch my gf's pulse,
but also to punch her right in the eye.
i was working at that evening
and when i ran to the spot after recieving the cops' phone call,
there was so much blood that i seriously thought that she got shot.
it ended up being just a cut on her eyebrow,
but it was real deep and she ended up getting stitches.
both my gf and i now decided that she was lucky that it didn't go beyond just "cuts and brusises."
she's a strong girl, so hopefully her emotional scar will be gone soon too.
she took off the stitches yesterday,
the cut is right in her eyebrow so the scar will be hard to notice,
but she still has some nice black-eye like she just had a boxing match with de la hoya or something.
she sometimes visits s2ki.com with me,
so if you guys wanna share any thoughts or have something to say to her,
both her and i will be greatly appriciated.

Hope your girlfriend is doing well. It sounds like she's well on the road to recovery. Shit happens, and this certainly sucks hard, but she'll be fine, and down the road you can both look back and have a chuckle over what happened.
Was the guy that did it ever caught? I'm guessing no, but one can hope...
Btw, my girlfriend had surgery to get her gallbladder removed not too long ago, so tell your girlfriend that there's someone else out there recovering from wounds at the same time. You know how misery loves company...

Sorry to hear what happened to your gf. Sucks when bad thing happen to good people. Don't let it eat you up inside. I am a firm believer that what comes around, goes around. This guy will get what's coming to him in time. Just be glad everyone is ok.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope you guys are doing ok. At least no one was seriously hurt. I hope they find the guy and he gets what he deserves (to be assraped in prison)....what kind of pussy hits a girl!

the guy who did that is no man at all. and he knows it. he's a coward and a failure to have to not only steal purses, but also assault beautiful, innocent females.
he knows he is worthless, and so all he can do is parasite off of others.
I hope she's able to move past this soon-- a little wiser and more cautious perhaps (and I'm not saying it's her fault)-- but she should take solace that losers like the one who assaulted her often go on to do other stupid crimes, get caught and thrown in prison.
I hope she knows it was just bad luck and he probably wasn't targeting her.
both of you should go for a nice drive to the countryside, look at the Fall colors (if they're still present) and enjoy some of the freedoms that your individual successes have created for yourselves.
nothing like a little top down (but perhaps chilly) S2000 cruisin' to help put things in perspective.
