So this ITunes thing...I can just download the software and get charged only when I receive a song? 99cents? and they have a good selection? I've been thinking about it, but I'm a little skeptical.

Yes, you only get charged if you download the song.

Yeah, the nice thing is - the software itself is free. You can get a 30 second preview of any song you'd like before you actually commit to buying it. Each song is $0.99 - you can buy complete albums for cheaper than the sum of their parts too.
