I used to really dig Kanyes music back in the day, first album was actually not bad (I dont listen to much rap at all).

It really is his ego that has made me feel as if he is a complete ass, and its not even in his music (because all rappers boast in raps).

Glad someone shut him up though, it was really getting out of hand.

so what, i love kanye west.

"Alicia Keys tried to talk some sense to 'em
30 minutes later seems there's no convincing 'em
What more can you ask for?
The international asshole nah
Who complains about what he is owed?
And throw a tantrum like he is 3 years old
You gotta love it though somebody still speaks from his soul"

Actually, I will say that if you listen to his newest album, it appears as if him being a career obsessed egotistical asshole has caught up to him.

Kanye needs to get back to his "flashing lights" ways...the man is an amazing producer, there is no question to that, but his latest album was just not up to par with his earlier ones. I can respect the idea of trying to push music to new and different levels, but his autotune is whack, and his live performances vocally were terrible, his sets were nice.

Also looking forward to Kid Cudi

I heard a radio interview awhile ago with this Kid Cudi character. In said interview he hinted that he was ready to call it quits....in which they tried to pull more information out of him but he clammed up.

Ready to retire and his album isnt even out?

Sounds like Kanye junior to me.

Kanye West used to be a pretty talented guy. Before his first album released, he didn't seem as obsessive or temperamental as he did once his album dropped.

He's still one of the few mainstream rappers whom I still actually listen to.
