I am not a big fan of country music, but I regulary listen to 98.1 in the morning's here in Austin for there morning call in show. The other day they had a hot young country singer on: Kellie Pickler. After seeing her emotional break down on the CMA awards I googled her, and read about her story.

I'm not going to air out my dirty laundry, but in a way, I can relate to her story.

 

She was on American Idol, wasn't she? I haven't followed the link you posted yet.

She seems like a sweet good-hearted girl.

 

thumbs up to a girl that used bad circumstances as motivation, not as an excuse to lose.

 

Yes she was on American Idol. It's too bad that she's very country and every song she did was country because she could have won.

But it's good that she's using her life experiences to make her songs
