He could sell the car back to his friend (or to someone else, for that matter) and only be out the cost for the certification test.

Good for him. Glad he fought and beat the system. Totally agree that even though he spent more than the fine, it keeps him from being convicted and helps the rest of the innocent people from being falsely accused. We need more people like this.

Tell me if im missing something here but, it says he sold the car for 600 to a friend. So it wouldn't be a wild thing to say that he bought the car back for that amount, maybe less. Then he paid 600 to have a guy test it. The total being 1200 correct?

If all of that adds up then he paid 200 more than the ticket but he got out of the 6 months band for speeding. Also he still has the car which he could sell agin.
