Kinda sad story for my lady :(
Don't bust out the tissues or something. 
Installed Sony 1621s on her car ('97 Kia Something-er-Other) but they were broken. 
Got a free replacement from Crutchfield.com which arrived today......

It seems like UPS used my box for the intro to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Part of this I blame on crutchfield.com. If they padded speakers with those little S Styrofoam things, that damage really shouldn't have occurred, but this will not hinder purchasing from them at all.
I got the mailbox people to certify that the box was in extremely poor condition (after they wrote down 'fair') with the managers Sig+Name. I hope they didn't do anything with it.
On another note, I just got a computer part via FedEx in mint condition

It really stinks the way some people just don't care enough about their job or they are pissed off at the time of handling the package that you get some crapped out box, but at least the products are good.
