Spiced up the kitchen cabinets by removing the center panels and had a local glass artist design and build in inlays. It's made with lead and glass and looks better in person than the pictures because of the glare.

Thanks and no plans as of yet to install any hardware. The glass artist did all the work to include removing the center panels, design and installation of the glass. Price was $90 a door. Project is almost done: when she finished the doors we could see what was in the cabinets which drove me nuts. I put black wrapping paper behind the glass as a temporary fix. The black glass is on back order. Next project is a bathroom remodel and Racedeck flooring for the garage.
Looks great, and imaginative. "Fun with routers" I presume.
Gives me something to shoot for, just started a kitchen remodel (will also have glass fronts) but as I am still ripping down plaster and have not even started on removing floor and ceiling (on a car this would be a "frame-off restoration") it will take me 6 months -- you'll long be done with your subsequent projects.
Any special care on the stained glass? I'd be afraid to use more than a wet microfiber cloth.
