yes, you need to be careful about what you order. A lot of those dishes are not friendly towards non-koreans. Stick to the foreigner friendly dishes: bulgogi, bulgalbi, japchae, sun dubu jjigae, neang myun, etc.
I find it funny how the rest of the world can easily accept foreign dishes, yet N. America seems to only like it's own food....
And I'm speaking from experience....I'll bet some other countries are thinking:
"WTF? You put honey over BBQ ribs? Might as well melt some icecream ontop of pizza, no?"
BTW...I'm not Korean. But I can accept that other countries and culutres have different tastes.

Could this be a reason why America is the FATTEST nation? I don't think this is a stereotype but most asian people are pretty slim. Just compare their diets with ours. Big Mac vs some noodles or some kimpop with rice, eggs , spinach etc mmmm. Man I love asian food
