Default L.A. Trip Advice

I buddy of mine and I are flying out to Los Angeles for a few days next week. He's going for a business trip which wraps up Thursday. I'm arriving Thursday evening and we're going to live it up until Saturday afternoon. Sky miles ftw!

I need suggestions on what spots to check out while we're there. Neither of us give a shit about clubs or celebrities or any of that crap. I wouldn't mind seeing a beach, maybe a museum, anything outdoors, etc.

He has a baby on the way within the month so a few suggestions for a crazy time would be appreciated as well.

That will be a good place to wind up. Thursday nights are apparently the best time to go too!

It's raining cats and dogs right now. If you want a great museum hit the Getty center. Visit bev hills/rodeo drive. Maybe hit Hollywood and vine. Drive hwy 1 from Santa Monica to Oxnard. Then go back on the 101. Stop by auto gallery in calabasas and drool on ferraris. Just a few suggestions.

we just came back from San Diego and LA. spent most of the time in SD with friends, but we drove up to LA to see another friend and spent about a day and a half there with him. we tried to jam in as much as possible while we were there. first thing i did was go to In 'n Out. we saw Santa Monica, Venice Beach, drove up close to the Hollywood sign, Walk of Fame, Bev Hills/Rodeo Dr and we just drove a lot around the hills and Mulholland Dr. we wanted to go to Malibu too, but ran out of time.

man, good times. i love it out there. i'd move in a heartbeat if not for the wife.

The Getty Villa on PCH is also pretty cool. The weather should start to let up depending on when you're coming. Zuma Beach is definitely one of the nicest beaches in Malibu if you're looking to hit one up. There is a ton of things to do, it just depends on what you're interested in.
