Does anyone have any suggestions on a solo vacation? I am thinking between Aug 31 thru Sept 5th.

I prefer to plan the vacation around some new skill/activity such as diving or skip barber racing.

Any thoughts?

Budget is about $2000 so that rules out skip barber 3 day

 

i'd do a 3-4 day golf school, near vegas, miami, sandiego, etc ... then go out at night & hit it w/ some hotties... golf during the day, chicks during the nite = teh w1n!!!!!

 

I am not really into golf. the woman part sounds nice, so does san diego!

I might even stay around metro nyc and do a multitude of stuff.

here is my list so far:

1. take motorcycle lessons and get my license (no plans on buying)
2. learn how to shoot a gun & gun safety (I have no clue where there is a gun range)
3. take some surfing lessons at robert moses beach

Open to suggestions

 

Leave a week earlier and go to the Dragonball

why are you planning a solo vacation?? don't you have families or friends??

as for ideas, you can go sky diving.

 

Some people don't mind going on vacation alone. I don't see it as a bad thing - I'd like to do that in the near future.

Skydiving would definitely be fun. Although unless you want to do it regularly, you may not want to go for several days in a row!

 

lol. I knew this question would arise. I am just tired of traveling with friends/family all the time. i need some time alone, to explore.

I am a loner by nature. raised by single parent, moved around a lot, no siblings.

I just need to take a deep breath by myself and do something new.

 

how bout fly fishing?? you get to be out in nature, in relative solitude, plus it's an activity.

 

Go rock climbing, Test yourself and have an adventure.

 

I think i will just go to fall colors and call it a vacation
