When a guy is out with a girl, and she says something along the lines of "I(the girl) am fat", what is the correct male response to this comment.

I was out with a girl last night and we were out grabbing something to eat. We do the conversation thing and she says "Man, I got to stop eating, I am getting so fat aren't I?" then she looks over for my reaction ....WTF? Mind you, she is not fat, but she could be viewed as thick, in a good way(badunkadunk, but small waist). So anyway, she says it in a way that I feel I am being tested for my answer.

So I just told her to stop that and that she looks great. But this isn't the first time this has happened. I hear it occasionally. The only other thing i can think of is to pretend i didn't hear it, but that only causes an uncomfortable silence.

Ladies or Gurus, what is the correct response to this.

 

"Yeah you're fat. And I'm Chuck Norris." <sarcastically, roll eyes as well>

 

"and if you say that again, imma give ya one a deez beeyotch!!!!"



but seriously.

 

She wants affirmation that you don't think she's fat. If she's not fat, say, "you're not fat, you look great and I like your weight". If she is fat, say "you could lose some weight, but you look good. Maybe we should exercise together and get healthy together."

i've prepared a standard answer b4 she even ask:
"oh really? i didn't notice .. just don't go crazy w/ your diet and you'll be fine."

 

just lie and tell her she looks great and her body is perfect.

 

Evil 8D would say: "I don't care if everyone else thinks you're fat, I like you as you are." (That'll mess with her head for days)

Good 8D would say: "What makes you think that?" Then, you sit down for a coffee and discuss her feelings.

I usually say very sarcastically... make sure it comes off very sarcastic and go... "Oh yeah... you are so fat... Damn."
