Lakers are #1
Dude,
Samaki Walker played totally out of position down in San Antonio. How can you ask someone that small to play backup center???? Lakers will probably uwse him as a power forward, where he belongs.

Mark,
After watching him (for 3 years) try to play the 4 in Dallas, I don't think he is not going to be too productive where ever they put him. The Lakers will probably still win another championship, with or without him.
We'll give you Mugsey Bogues for Shaq. Fair enough...

Hmmm... Mugsey for Shaq, what a steal
Let me get Jerry Bus on the phone and let him know.
I still have hope for Samaki. One of the biggest problems for the Lakers was at power forward last year. Sure, Horace did a good job, but he wasn't quick enough for the likes of Tim Duncan. Since Horace is gone, the only guys we have now are Horry, Madsen and Medvenko. Horry's clutch in the playoffs, but is a little small for power forward. Madsen and Medvenko are a little slow. We'll see how the new zone rules help out here.

for the powerforwards
I really want to see how madsen will fare this season..
He would foul so much (but not as much as travis
) last season because the officials weren't used to his physical play and plus he was a rookie. i think he'll be better this year because I'm hoping the officials will let him play his game
I hope Walker gets to shine in LA. If he doesn't prove himself with the lakers...his value is going to drop and his career will be on a downward spiral..
As for Medvenko.. hope he gets stronger, smarter on D and O, and picks up his intensity X 10.. then he'll become a pretty good player...
whatever tho, i wonder what winter's teaching the team about zones.. remember? he was a college coach back in the days..
hopefully it'll mask the defensive skills lacking from some players..
other than that, i'm so glad we got richmond!
and Hunter!

Lakers are going down this season...Now C-Web is settled in Sac Town, the KINGS will dethrone them...
c-webb made a good decision staying over there.. he would have messed everything up for you guys if he left and the king organization would have had to start all over again.. i'm glad for you guys he stayed tho...
yo, Mike Bibby for J-Dub was a HUGE acquisition for you guys..
Bibby's like a less talented Jason Kidd that can score..
He's gonna make it easier for your shooters (esp Peja) to score with his dishing skills..
Only problem for you guys is...
BIG SHAQ!

Shaq vs Vlade/Pollard????

PUH-LEEEEAAAASSSEEE!!

hehe...we're still gonna be number one cuz of SHAQ!
what do u think about j-dub playing all good and reliable with the grizzlies? maybe it's cuz it's still the preseason?
