^I was a catcher as well, the cup hits sucked, what was even worse is when the batter tips it at a certain point, it wacks your inner thigh and cup at the same time........man those were painful.......ahhh the memories

I don't know. It's probably like getting shot while wearing a bullet proof vest. Glad it stoped the bullet and protected all the vital parts, but in the end it still hurts like a mofo.
