The latte factor
I think there was an actual news article on this but i think it goes something like this
2 coffees a day @ 4.13 = 8.26
x 7 days in a week = 57.82
x 4 weeks in a month = 231.28
X 12 monthsin a year = $$2,775.36
wow..... thats nearly an IRA limit >< guess i need to kick the habbit, anyone else in same situation lol?

I put a pod-brewer on my desk at work. I figure my cost is still under $0.30 a cup including liquid Coffeemate and using bottled water. Beats the $1.70-ish for regular coffee at Starbucks (or even versus $1.40 at a non-chain java joint).

Hows about saving for that supercharger or those new sets of wheels by only drinking one and putting the money away for the other at least by the end of the year you will have saved an easy grand that you normally would have spent. I actually did somthing similar this last summer while bartending I used to cash in my loose change for bills, and i decided on saving it instead in a jar, let me say that I easily saved about 1500 in three months and 2k in 6, summertime helps because i was working at a Racetrack (horse) / Casino/ Bar and the other months were in the off season that was just loose change.
some of you really need to learn how to make coffee yourselves. I mean, boiling water and pouring it into a French press isn't THAT hard. It isn't about the money, it is about being stupid by giving away your money for things you can do yourself as easily as boiling water. I can see a mid-day latte occasionally, but right away in the morning on your way to work? That's just stupid and offensively lazy.
