Default Life scenario...

Not me, but a family friend.

Married couple has 2 kids, don't want any more. Woman has female problems, cysts, ovarian issues, etc... all signs say to remove any unnecessary parts to avoid cancer further down the line and to make life easier.

Husband instead volunteers for vasectomy.

Why?

Because the husband's an idiot. He seems to think this has to do with having babies, because it has to do with her vagina.

Because the husband had the perfect excuse to get one and can now fool around without (baby) risk?

shes going to need a partial or full hysterectomy anyway down the road regardless of what he does.

well, it is definitely easier to get a vasectomy than a hysterectomy. Maybe he was just being kind to her, so she can get it when she needs to?

I read more into the "dont want any more kids" part than the "woman has ovary problems" part. If they dont want any more kids, why NOT a vasectomy first, until the momma needs to get a hysterectomy?

Rob the bookie to pay off the copper, Kill the stripper, and bribe the sanitation worker to dispose of the body.

I didn't read your actual post, but that advice has worked for every difficult Life scenario that I've gotten myself into, so hopefully it will help you, too.

Big question comes into play here....Do they have health insurance? Or is the wife's procedure medically necessary where health insurance WILL cover it?

If not $ Vasectomy < $$$$ Hysterectomy
