It never ceases to amaze me - President Bill Clinton has sex in the White House with a person young enough to be his daughter - but that's a "private matter". Bush's teenage daughter in college tries to buy alcohol with a fake ID, and that is somehow earth shattering news. Gee, a minor trying to buy alcohol with a fake ID - I just can't beleive that....

 

I guess they figure the presidential family has to set an example for everyone.

 

I understand the twins are on their way to Camp David for the weekend to talk to Mom and Dad. I wouldn't want to be in their Buster Browns. Gramps and Granny Bush will be there, too. I don't see why this is anybody's business but the Bushs'. But, then of course, the media loves a good scandal because it sells lots of papers. I'm anxious to see what kind of spin is put on this by the rags like The National Enquirer.

 

Wasn't it Republicans who made personal behavior and "family values" campaign issues. I think we'd all agree that this wouldn't be much but "grin news" otherwise.

 

That has become political but really shouldn't have. It's about two 19 year olds trying to have fun with their friends. This happens a million times and has little to do with who they are related to. Anyway politics bad.
