I work for Viacom (parent company of MTV) and my office is on the 26th floor of 1515 Broadway (MTV Studios are on the main concourse of my building). Ever see TRL? That's my building!! Anyway, I get the opportunity to meet "the talent" every once and a while and I did get a chance to meet LP last summer while they were here. VERY cool group of guys, very down to earth and seemed like they just have a lot of fun. Only band that was "cooler" is Fuel. I'm biased though, Fuel happens to be my favorite band. Either way, the Linkin Park CD is great and I also can't wait for the new one. I think (hope) rock is making a comeback... Kid Rock, Fuel, Creed, Linkin Park, P.O.D, Nickelback, Incubus (GREAT band), Tool, etc. all have good music out. Somehow I didn't picture alot of S2000 owners being into that kind of music, I'm surprised at how many have replied to this thread! My roommate is into the same music I am, but I thought he was just not the stereotypical S2000 owner.

I just got the CD and I love it. I also recently got into Creed, Staind, Fuel, POD, Nickelback, Incubus, and maybe another one or two that I am forgetting. I would love to see these bands live so I hope they make some stops in Central Texas.

Yep, another linkin park fan. Also like STP, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumkins (early stuff - too bad they broke up), Rage against the machine and other angry young man music.

Incubus is GREAT live. I saw them last summer with Outkast (who btw is also great live).

Mystic_350, you hit my taste of music right in the nose. I love all of those bands. I'd include Staind near the top of the list as well. They can definately rock out.

As soon as I get my S2000 (whenever that will be!) I promise to break it in with LP blaring all 500 miles

Anyone like Adema? I recently got that cd and I think it's pretty good. The lyrics start to get on my nerves after a while (stop whining already!) but the music itself is incredible. If you've never heard them, imagine Orgy's music with Jonathan Davis (of Korn) singing. It's kind of like that.

I like them too, although I've only listened to the Hybrid Theory Album.

They are almost as good as Rage Against The Machine.

I remember crashing my previous black stook into a building at high speed while Killing in the Name was playing.

I like LP and most of the bands above, but nobody has mentioned Powerman 5000 yet? These guys completely rock!

Rob Zombie can kick some ass too!!
