I call major BS on him owning all of those. It COULD be a list of all the cars he DID own at one point, maybe...
There are 1800 cars on that list. At a conservative 50k each, that's $90m in cars. That is possible I suppose, but I somehow doubt it.

not one S2000.
I remember seeing a picture of his WHITE F40 ferrari.... not sure how many they made in white but that thing looked awesome.
Having that many cars is just stupid..... but if you have a zillion $$$ why not?

it is easy to get your head around storing that many cars in multiple locations.
there has to be a large staff of people keeping up the cars (driving them, maintaining them etc) since it would take the sultan over 8 years to drive them all at one per day (assuming he would drive himself personally, I am sure he gets limo-ed to most of his destinations).
the owning of that many cars is conceivable, its a waste of money IMHO unless he keeps them all in tip top shape for nostalgic and archive purposes. To be a truly important historical collection it needs to be much more diverse.

He was in a Discovery Channel show about Dubai not long ago. I think Jeremy Clarkson also visited him in his old videos called Motorworld, when he visited Dubai. He does indeed have all those cars, but it's not exactly made into a museum like a car connoisseur might. It just shows that money can't buy good taste.
