LOL. That's the riddle

O.K. each of the phrases means something else in Cockney rhyming slang, Cockneys live in a certain area of London, England and developed a code way of talking to each other, to confuse strangers.

This is better than Sakespeare!

O.K. here's a clue:-

Apples and pears = Stairs.

So a Cockney might say " Time for bed, I'm going up the apples and pears"

Think RHYMING for the other answers.
