"A domestic disturbance in the 3300 block of Lotus Land ended with a woman being treated for a laceration to her leg and buttock. The woman reported her husband threw a plate at her, cutting her lower leg. She then took a baseball bat and broke out all his car windows, sitting in the broken glass and cutting her buttock, a police report stated."

I didn't know automotive glass can cut. I thought they were designed to shatter into tiny, non lacerating pebbles...

It is meant to not turn into major shards but it definitely can cut. It goes to smaller pieces when it shatters but they're not rounded at all.
