Default Logitech G25....G27?

I have heard of rumors and even supposedly real pictures of the new "G27".

I have been wanting to get a simulation wheel for a while now, and finally have the cash.

I just visited the amazon website, which has the wheel for about $200 now new, and since I have a $30 amazon gift card, it will only be $170.

Should I drop the money for the G25 or wait for the G27? ( If it is even real )

The only thing I don't like about the G25 is the buttons that are located on the shifter instead of the wheel - so in Gran Turismo to look backwards or left/right you have to take your hand off the wheel. Hopefully the mythical G27 will fix that (all of the fake G27 pictures on the web show the buttons on the wheel).

I don't know if I would buy a G25 now or wait for a new wheel from Logitech - the G25 has been out for a few years now and it's about time for an upgrade, but Logitech didn't debut any new steering wheel at E3.

That's what I had before I got the G25. Because the buttons are on the wheel it was more functional than the G25 IMO. I should have just replaced it with the same thing when it broke, but the G25 was just released and it had a clutch and a H-pattern shifter - the problem is hardly any games support the clutch and shifter.

I'm going to use the wheel on a PC, so the DFGT is irrelevant...

I'm just worried if I buy the G25, it will only be another 2 months 'till the G27 supposedly comes out.

Electronics Expo has the wheel for $200.
Does anyone have it for cheaper?
