Default Long Term Meaning?

not sure how many of you guys here at s2ki live that of a gym lifestyle but this still confuses me, any doctors here that can possibly chime in on steroid use? the reason i ask is because i'll be starting my first test-e cycle in the beginning of march (it'll be 500mg a week for 10 weeks total) and while i understand there are mixed opinions about the use and abuse (more so ignorance to the facts and belief of the myths) of such am wondering if anyone can honestly give me a definition in regards to "long term" use of steroids or any drug for that matter as those side effects are the only ones that really jump out at me. i'm twenty-two, 5'8", and 172lbs, have no family history of heart disease, and just had an ekg done which came back great (will be getting blood work done prior as well as post cycle); will also be monitoring bp weekly.

here's a twenty-two year old australian body builder that died from cardiac arrrest while vacationing in thailand though he had a congenital heart defect from birth which wasn't picked up on and feel cycling on and off of various steroids including more harsh ones such as clen and dnp didn't help matters any - zyzz

quick breakdown of my cycle including pct ...

test-e 500mg/week (weeks 1-10)

- 2 weeks after last injection

clomid 50mg/ed, nolva 40mg/ed (weeks 1-2)
clomid 25mg/ed, nolva 20mg/ed (weeks 3-4)

"The fact that these relatively young
study patients developed early coronary arteriosclerosis
may have significant health and social implications.
We would expect that premature coronary
events will occur in similar steroid abusers. Due
to the rampant abuse of steroids from high school
sports to the now well publicized abuse by professional
sports figures, we may expect an increase in
cardiac events in otherwise healthy athletes when
they reach their late 30s to mid-40s."

Based on that study (and on every documentary ever made on the subject I've ever seen) I would strongly advise against it unless you want to have your heart explode in your early late 40's / early 50's.

However, since you seem honestly interested in a medical opinion in this...ASK YOUR DOCTOR.
You can't get in trouble for asking questions and (since you've recently had an EKG) you already know who to ask.

I respect you for wanting to know what this stuff does to your body before starting...so ask someone who KNOWS the answer.

Im not a doctor. But, from what I have heard and seen I would never consider taking steroids. The "apparent" long term effects are enough to scare me away. I dont want my balls to shrivel up into my stomach and I dont want a heart attack at the age of 40. Plus, you cant take it forever and when you do get off of it your going to feel like shit after a while and probably lose that strength that you acquired while on the cycle.

Stick with the protein and aminos imho.

Un-supervised and self-administered steroid use poses very dangerous risks, both short and long term.If I may ask what are your reasons for considering steroid use?

If you want something, then work for it. Don't be a pussy and use steroids.

haha they don't shrivel up into your stomach, they shrink as they're no longer producing testosterone naturally but once done your cycle return to normal size and thickening of the left ventricle is from long term use which would cause any heart related problems unless you have an underlying medical condition. believe it or not most gains are kept, you might lose ten pounds.

i have a friend whose a nurse administering it, i'll get blood work done prior to and after my cycle, also had an ekg done which checked out great. my reasons honestly are just to put a lot of size on, i've been working out for about a year now naturally and while i jumped from 158 to where i am now feel i've hit that plateau.

real or fake muscles = beach muscles only kidding haha but you still need to work for them on steroids, they don't just magically appear because you inject some oil.
