Look at what this guy said about his test drive...
Earlier i was reading some threads on evolutionm.net since my bro has an evo himself so i was just looking at those forums then i run into a thread titled "Test drove an s2k.." http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?threadid=148421 thats the link he was talking about how he was dissapointed in how this car cant launch, how slow it is, how it understeers, and how he thinks his moms lexus rx330 handles much better wow how stupid is this freakin guy i even made an account on that forum just to say how stupid he was man everyone please read this i think this guy is stupid and cant drive for s***.

Not to knock EVOs too much (or maybe I am) but honestly, who would want a 4-door hardtop UNLESS you have a family with a carseat in the back to haul around? They are not sportscars, just a 4 door that is relatively decent on power and handling...

There are knuckleheads on every forum. I would guess we have had similar "reviews" of certain cars on this forum as well.
It is not worth the time to respond. EVO ROCKS THE HOUSE!!!!
I do think a stock evo will beat a stock s2000 in just about everything but looks and open air-ness, but the s2000 is fairly close in everything.

(Sorry, I just cannot see a 4-door car as something anyone would buy for a fun car, fun to me is small 2 doors and open air. I am not saying it is not a good fast, well handling car, I am saying it would be boring in everyday driving)

Evo another great mitsubishi product, will mitsubishi even be in business next year? who knows? Personally having owned a Mitsubishi I would never endanger my life by owning one again. He could brag about how fast his mitsubishi is all he wants, for how long thats the better question. Their build quality is worse than hyundai, they always have problems with their trannies and their interior build is the equivalent to living in a cave. Be careful what you touch that it might just fall off in your hand, not to mention their a paint,clutch,differential,u-joint breaking piece of sh@#.Honda s2k=chick magnet=superb track car=best sports car under 35k.

I owned a 2001 S2000 and it was an awesome car!! It was fast, lauched like a damn rocket, and revved to 9k rpm. The seats were not uncomfortable at all. I drove mine from Louisiana to Seattle and back with not one single problem. The car was bullet proof. I beat the hell out of that car the whole time I had it. Sure it isn't as fast as the evo, but extremely fun to drive. Oh and it's CONVERTIBLE!!! Put the top down and roll out. Very fun car. Oh and if you think an rx330 handles better than an s2000 then you need to go to driving school. That is the best rear wheel drive handling car under 30,000 dollars. It has so much more steering feel than the Evo. Of course the Evo handles better, but its all wheel drive. In fact you don't deserve to drive an evo either. Get yourself a station wagon and enjoy!!
