OK, I get it now.
You're thanking in advance. Geez, I thought there was a post that got deleted.
Anyway, Valentine ONE or Passport 8500 (or its current equivalent). The Passport is about $100.00 cheaper and still does almost the same job.
ps. I have a feeling this is going to end up getting moved to "Off Topic" as UTH is for S2000 "wrenching" topics.

Don't forget one thing.I know for a fact,and I'm speaking of experience.
ALL,and I mean ALL detectors, are detectible by Police officers.
It cost me a $630.00 dollars fine,((and my X-50 was seized and destroyed,))to learn that.
In my neck of the woods, detectors are OUTLAWED,and Police officers are equipped to get you.!!!

Valentine here.
This should be in Off-Topic or S2000 Talk

Perfectly legal in California though!
Happy 8500 user here. You've got the two right choices listed though. Don't even think about any of the others. The V1 has the directional arrows and perhaps more sensitivity. The 8500 is smaller, has a system voltage display mode I use all the time, and prevented every possible ticket-situation I've encountered.
