Default Looking for a Video IPod (60 GB Black preferred)

Well, as the title goes, I'm looking for a 60 GB IPod, preferrably in Black. I had a 4th Gen 60 GB Photo IPod, but when my friend went to load it up with the new "update", it locked my hard drive beyond repair and now Apple wants $200 to get a new hard drive!! It was their "Update" that fried my drive, now I have to "update" to a new IPod.

So, if anyone knows of someone selling a used Video (or even a new), let me know. I miss my tunes!!!

Did you try mounting the ipod as a removable drive and using Disk Management to reformat it, then reinitialize using iTunes?

If that doesn't work and your HD is really fried, a harddrive replacement is really simple and harddrives are fairly cheap, I replaced my cousin's 4G 30gb ipod for $100.

If you've tried everything and the HDD is dead, I'd also just replace the HDD. ilounge.com has some good threads on this.

I have no knowledge on how to fix them a friend loads up the music for me he had sent it in to an ipod specialty shop and they said the hard drive was fried. He actually sent it in to a shop from ilounge.

Anyways I want a video ipod now since my old one wasnt.
