LOST is back!
Dude, I just found out that John Locke (Terry Quinn) lives in my area in MD and his wife just bought a Lexus RX450h from the Lexus dealer I work for. She traded a GS430 that was registered in Hawaii
Hopefully I'll get to meet him when LOST is over.
He's been so badass this year

I was not real happy with it at first because the whole Jack v Locke thing was anti climactic and done with an hour left in the show. Then it went all touchy feely and I was thinking it would have a hard edge to it.
But the more I think about it the more I liked it. The imagery of the plane flying overhead with Jack's eye closing and the dog next to him as he dies was just about perfect.
I have to watch CSI's and Law and Order's and Bones and House with my wife and I can tell you how each one will end five minutes in. Each episode has the same formula as the last. I hate to see such a creative show end. I never knew where the episodes would go and could not wait to watch the next one. That is rare. Now I am down to just one season left of The Wire. Then what will I watch??????? No more shows that are chock full o greatness. sniff sniff.

my still lingering questions: WHAT is the island and WHAT is underneath it?! screw the human characters, i want to know about the island!
when they were jumping around in time when paddling around the island, someone started shooting at them. who was it?
what was the horse that kate saw in the jungle? what was that an allusion to?
there were other bodies in the hole, why was the man-in-black-with-no-name the only one that the hole/light turned into a smoke monster?
there were lots of dead bodies around, what was so special about locke that smokey had to inhabit him?
why does juliet prefer sloppy seconds?

My main question that I have not figured out yet is how in the previous seasons did so many people come and go, like with Ben and Sayid, and Ben and Locke (when he died)....
I think my biggest 'huh' with this is...if smokey died...then what need is there for someone to stay and protect it? Or the island itself?
I always thought the whole point was Jacob vs smokey...and neither could kill each other so they had to bring people to the island to do it for them. No one can come to the island, they have to be brought. So now that the 'evil' side is gone...what is there to protect it from?
