The Rover powered cars are much better balanced than the ITR powered cars and weigh less.

I have not driven the Sun car, but lets just say that the Lotus 190S will run circles around most cars on the road including the S2000.

ummmm

Stock 190S motor - 190hp
ITR motor - 200hp in this car or close to it

Not much difference, in my mind.

I believe the stock 190S is approx. 1400-1500lbs. what is the weight of the Sun car?
