that train didn't just outta nowhere turn the corner and plowed that truck.
he should have seen the train and the truck driver should have seen the train.
where i come from, you'd be fired after you get out the hospital for allowing such an accident happen.

I think the 20 foot high trailers were blocking his view of the approaching train.
I am sure he heard the train is it was approaching (when he started reacting to the accident) but did not have enough time to react or was completely confused by what he was hearing at the time and did not react fast enough.
I would not necessarily say he was stupid in this case

Where does it say he was responsible for regulating the traffic on the train tracks?
