What is something that you alone want for yourself? That you have money building in that secret account of yours for? What do you lust after?

For me, with my return to Iaido, I would like to complete my set of katanas (two daitos, one blunt and the other sharp) by getting a true folded forged katana. The downside with most of these types of swords is that they are blastingly expensive, upwards of $4,000 US. I was looking around and going around, talking to people here in Calgary and on the web, and stumbled across a beautiful katana for a decent price for a student of Iai, such as myself, the Hanwei Shinto Katana.

It's a great bargain at $1100 Canadian. So far, I'm halfway saved up to getting it ^__^ It's on the extremely cheap end of folded swords, btw. My true dream is a custom made Howard Clark (Bugei Trading Co) Katana, but then I'm looking at $12 K Canadian at least.

Hmm...I guess my preference would rest more on Kendo than Iaido because I like the feeling of my shinai smashing somebody on the head

But Iaido, when practiced, is an art of beautiful form indeed.
