These are NJ new car dealer plates, I guess some BMW dealership got their hands on the car. The photo looks like it was taken at a show of some sort.............

Great post, Loki! I was contemplating to sell my soul to BMW M ... And this has just made me even more willing. So, where do I get one of these very limited production models? This is damn impressive, I hope the technology and mechanicals are up to date with the aerodynamics.
