With everybody complaining about how unreliable the BMW is when electronics are involved, at least the air bags know when to deploy.

I didn't even know the M5 was out yet. Anyway, looking at the pictures, it took place in Taichung, Taiwan. The license plate is a "test" plate, so I assume it was some kind of BMW employee or test driver. The building in the background is a popular hostess club.

What I heard was that it was on loan to a magazine to test it. Not sure if it is true, but that's the rumor.

Look at how well the car survived...I really really doubt anyone was seriously hurt. Go German engineering!
