No, that's not Canadian. There is an M5 going for 85k up here at Fox Valley Motorcars...

And it's used!

MSRP is $69K + $2K gas guzzler tax + luxury tax + ~$1800 for sunroof and stereo upgrade.

They often sell for much more than that from speculators

Heh,

Local dealership here is charging $20k over MSRP. That's $96k before tax and licenses. OUCH!

Awesome car tho. I played with one this morning on the way to work, although it didn't seem like he wicked it up too much getting on the on ramp, I think he was surprised I was staying ahead of him.... When a big bend came up he dropped back, not surprising since his car isn't quite as nimble as ours.

Here's a nice movie if you haven't seen it:

WOW... Just looked up the specs on the M5!

394 HP
155 Top speed
0-60 4.8 seconds!!!!!

That's pretty darn quick for a sedan!

I'd still rather get the X5... can't tow my boat with an M5...

Hey, anyone know of a BMW board, where I might be able to find out from owners how it deals with snow?

Not only is that a fast 0-60... My favorite number to quote is:
0-150mph in 30 sec.
(according to one of those big-name magazine comparisons)

Now THAT is fast. That's got to be limited at 155. Monsterous torque and hp... All for the same price as the E55
