Major Tax evasion...
The shoplifting thread reminded me of this guy I met. He is on disability (I don't know what for) but seems perfectly fine to me. So fine in fact that he has built a small shop behind his house and runs a Bodyshop out of it. He even has a employee!
All his work is cash and he pays NO TAXES
. Gee what a nice way to make a living, been doing it for years I hear. He has a nice home, a brand new F150 and some expensive streetrods.
Anyone who knows him could get him busted but no one has. He doesn't seem to worry about it one bit. The Government sure takes alot from the rest of us, I wish I could get my 40% back too.
My question of the day: If you knew someone like him, would you turn him in?

Why turn him in? What about the wait staff at your local resturant? Think they are paying taxes on ALL of those tips?
On the serious side he is taking a chance on getting caught, he chose to take that risk. I would not turn him in, but I would'nt feel bad for him if he were caught by the IRS. He must be pretty good at masking his income or laundering the cash.
BTW if you come up with a way to avoid the 40% let me know
Maybe a plan can be devised on the next STL meet
