Alright, let's say you've got 11 people in a room, including yourself (that's you plus 10).
You give everyone a dollar, and you're out 10 dollars.
...but they each give you 1 dollar, and you've got your money back.

Sooo, it will not work. [/thread]

what you are referring to is called a "susu"

It's actually not that dumb and many people do it.

that link has a good explanation of it....of course on a much smaller scale of what you are trying to accomplish

All a susu is is a savings plan. You don't make any money, you just donate the win amount in installments and get it back in a lump sum. It costs you 10000 to get a 10000 dollar payday. It would be risky too. If you get a early payday okay you have the cash, but you would still have to pay most of it back. If you get a late payday and people have dropped out you may not get a payday equal to what you put in.

I was thinking, with the inspiration of Jerry Springer, what if everybody in the world got together and sent one person a dollar. That person would be a billionaire, then everyone would send another dollar to another person making them a billionaire. And so on until everyone was a billionaire.
Am I missing something or is this really doable?
Same sort of idea as the S2K Land thread
I believe that this should answer your question ....

How about just sending me all your money and calling it a day?
