When we had Dodger season tickets I remember watching Cardinals batting practice. McGwire would hit one monster home run after another. He hit two in a row out of the park and into the parking lot.

Baseball is boring, I wish everyone would use steriods and start beating the shit out of eachother with the baseball bat instead of focusing on hitting the white ball

As someone who thinks grown men playing little boys games as ghey . And someone who hates team sports with a passion. I don't know why this is a big deal.
He took juice, so what? He still had to hit the gym, the juice doesn't give you instant muscles without effort. He still had to hit the ball, the juice doesn't improve that. Who did he harm? Just his heart and his little pee pee.
Why is juice bad and a player with 20 -20 vision that has LASIK done to see 20-10 okay? It makes no sense. If you want to juice up and screw your body in the future, good for you.
PS. Can someone explain what would make a old man baseball coach wear a baseball uniform with their huge pot bellies
None of the other team sports do that.

Steroids can help you workout harder and recover much faster. While I agree it doesnt help your hand-eye coordination, it does help you swing much faster/harder, thus causing the ball to go farther when making contact (aka: more home runs).
WFO, even with your attitude on team sports, how is it that you don't "get" why violating the rules of the sport is bad? Even individual sports have rules. Follow them or be a cheater. Pretty simple reason to look down on McGwire and other cheaters. "Win at all costs" is not what we want our kids to get from sports. YMMV
