LOL, thanks for advice on the different styles all, although I think I do have that part of it narrowed down 
I was under the impression that alot of Krav Maga deals with disarming someone that has a gun held to you. Hence the reason alot of militairy/police training use it.
If there is one style that what I'm learning parrells it is the Jeet Kun Do, in the sense that we are taught anything that works. We wont avoid a technique because it is not our 'style' so to say. And I thought Jeet Kun Do on principle was the actual 'lack' of any hard forms/style learned?

Krav Maga deals with all sorts of high defense situations Kifepoint, gun point, no escape situations It is not for everyone, but it is the best no frills self defense type of discipline I have come across.
