Yep...it is pretty much a scam. I was talking about this today with some people. I determined that about 75% of the flowers sent on this day are sent by people (men) trying to stay out of trouble, and are received by people (women) just trying to outdo other people (women) to see who got their mate to spend the most on them. The whole idea and concept of it being for LOVE is seemingly out the window. If it was valid, you would see MEN getting flowers and such as well. Argh....
