Anyone have any problems at work with your employee's jealous of what you have??? I have already heard twice from 2 different people that someone was gonna key my car. After hearing that I told my wife that I wanna drive her car and she can drive mine. (Oh she is so excited!) I don't think I am getting paranoid & No, I don't have any enemies if that is what you are gonna ask. This has totally caught me off guard. What should I do?

I never understood the mentality of a person who would do something like that. Sad indeed.

I am not aware of any people at my work who are jealous of me - in fact just the opposite: they seem pleased that I have bought it. Perhaps it's because of the smile I have on my face when I arrive at work. Maybe it's the part of the country I live in or the working environment.

Zangerzone, One thought I would put forward: if you stop driving to work in your S2000, because you are afraid it may get damaged, will it stop there? Will you find youself constantly worrying about your S2000 whenever it is out of your sight?

You have to accept that there are some real ba^&*rds out there and someone, somewhere, is going to take offence at you owning the car.

Sounds like tall poppy syndrome ... It's everywhere in Sydney, I've realized. Just gotta get used to it I guess, not everyone likes what they see simply because of jealousy can lead to alot of unthinkable mishaps. After all, this world ain't perfect.

I think that if you heard about this and obviously you find it to be a real threat you should rethink your position about having no enemies.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right? I've met jealous people and I've met Honda haters.
It sucks, but what can you do. I try to keep my car visible to me as often as I can.

Zangerzone,

What kind of company employs you? And what kind of people work there?
