Not a bad show this morning, although they seemed to come in bunches rather than continuously. I was surprised that they seemed to go in all directions.

I got to the dark skys at 12am cst and enjoyed 1&1/2 hrs of a pretty good show. Set my camera up and took about a dozen shots but it is always luck to be pointing in the right spot. Clouds came in at 1:30 and at that time there were probably 70 an hour. Lots of burners in green and yellow. I will process the film Monday and see what I got. Any one else?

I wanted to watch it, but didn't set my alarm. However, I woke up at 4:45 AM and remembered that the best time was supposed to be around 4:55 AM. So I got out of bed and put my sweat clothes on and stepped out on my back deck to watch the show. Just knowing that it won't be quite like this for 99 years made it special. It was really awesome.

Our best time is apparently in 15 minutes but as it's cloudy I doubt we shall be able to see anything.

With judicial use of motorcycle lane splitting and creative riding, I was able able to coerce my way past 2 blockades (CHP + Sherrif) to make it to the very top ridge of Mt. Tamalpias in Marin County (just north of San Francisco), traffic was insane!

Then quick hike to a secluded area with no people for an amazing clear view of the sky and the meteor shower, what an amazing spectacle!

Hope my wish comes true.

chattanooga had a nice show, but not as amazing as the reports that came in on the nasa channel, they were reciving reports on the west coast at about 1-2 per second, i did have fun i just lied down on the dive way looking directly up into the sky, but man it was cold, the tiny show that i had was just amzaing to me, no wild colorfull ones just your plain ones, some were really long, in about 20min that i was out there(it was really really cold for me) i saw about 40, and just like others have said they came in bunches.

I went out to Joshua Tree national park in the middle of the desert. It was a great show. Some of my friends go out every year and had a campground rented. They told me that this year was the best one ever. It was a great show. So many meteors falling at the same time.
