what is the citation for the statute? i can look it up for you. Statutes get repealed but erased is a new one to me. is it federal, or state?

think it was federal because it involved multiple states. It is entirely gone. All i could find was the "Im sorry that we did this to you" portion....

Wait, what? You talking about the stuff going on back in the 1920s and '30s? As far as I can tell, it was never an official act/law. Unless you mean the Quota Act of 1924, which wikipedia says was mostly about European immigration at first, but was applied to Mexican immigration eventually. But the wikipedia article is light on references and might not be very accurate.

Why do you think there was an actual law passed? Did you actually read a reference to one, or are you assuming?
