Default mgb gt questions

does anyone have anything good or bad to say about a 74 mgb gt? would it be something of a fun car to own? please post your experiences.

In a word no! They were extremely hard to keep in tune. Substandard production quality and very hard to find parts for. The bodies were prone to rust easily and were flimsy. No protection from crashes. Not a good choice no matter how good of condition. Most people sold them as quickly as they bought them. I'm not really sure about collectors value. I'd look on Hemmings for some indepth information and fair pricing!

FORGETTABOUTIT! Unless that sucker has been sitting in a hermetically sealed chamber for the last twenty years or so, your looking at a body with the consistency of Swiss cheese, not to mention the quality (or lack thereof) of the mechanicals.
