Ah, the truth is an illusive goal, especially when prosecutors and defense attorneys, and thier clients as well, lie through their teeth. There is no true justice, because trials have become a stage show to advance the TV careers of the principal participants Truth is the true victim.

At the very least, Michael Jackson will sell more records and probably get a book deal out of this (along with his attorney and the judge who tries the case).

But there is some consolation. In 100 years this guy and his music will be totally forgotten.

SocratesDTC,

I've just got to ask why you're so devoted to this guy. My god, you aren't even old enough to remember when "Thriller" was all the rage.

Do you really not find his behavior questionable? Or are you such a fan that you don't think he's capable of doing any wrong?

Not trying to be hateful, I'm just really curious about why some people are so crazy about him.

IMO, I don't think SocratesDTC is overly devoted to MJ any more than others are overly eager to convict him. I personally find MJ's behavior odd and yes, sometimes questionable, but that's not proof that he's guilty of this child molestation charge.

If it's proof of anything, it's that he sometimes displays odd and questionable behavior. Anything beyond that is speculation.

Don't worry, you aren't hateful.

I'm not a blind. I know that there are tons of great artists, but he is the best.

I also like:

-Queen
-Scorpions
-Led Zeppelin
-Rolling Stones
-Simply Red
-James Brown
-Doors
-Animals
-Jimmy Hendrix etc

..but Michael Jackson is something different.

He dances & moves with a unique way. His voice is one of the best (if not the best), also he writes/composes his own songs and the 99.9% are No 1's.

What is wrong with his behavior? Listen:
Personally I don't love children. Actually I give a $hit about them. If I had his money I would have bought a lot of cars, some Formula's ,also I would have built a race track in my house or I would be Ron Dennis.

Now the difference is that he loves children. If you listen to his songs, most of them talk about children (ex.: childhood, heal the world, they don't care about us, little susie etc.) He wanted to create a place that, children suffering (AIDS, cancer etc) from all over the world, could have the chance to visit and to watch his own ZOO, race with go-carts, see some galleries and at least stay there, with the devision of their parents. It's like free city. You can do everything you want to.

Now tell me.: what is wrong with that??

Oh dammit he is a father(!) calm down. He was married with a lot of beautyful women, he's not obsessed with children, and he's not a g@y.

SocratesDTC--fair enough and thanks for answering.

We'll just have to disagree on his obsession with kids. I do find his conduct with kids very problematic. Why you don't think it's odd that he sleeps with kids (always boys) that aren't his own is beyond me, but that's ok.

I have no idea what his sexual orientation is and don't think it's really relevant. That he's been married is also irrelevant. Lots of gay men have married women for various reasons.

I don't think the truth will ever tell out on this one. Too much money and fame involved.

A bit premature .... it has only been top of the charts for one week (so far).
