I know we all like to play "holier than thou," but can you honestly say you've never drank a few beers and drove home? I know you're old and all, but think back to when you were 23.
No I've never DUI'd. The mere fact that you're talking about driving under the influence so flippantly, is a concern for sure.
What's with all this old crap btw?

It's got nothing to do with "holier than thou", it's got everything to do with being a responsible person. That fact is magnified when you take the public stage. Common sense really. Why the F would you throw away millions of dollars for a puff? Show me anyone of normal intelligence that would do that.

maybe some people on the public stage would rather not have their lives be put under a microscope.
except we don't have people trying to cash in on our 'misdeeds'
I'm not talking about downing an 18-pack, blacking out, and waking up in your driveway with the car still running. I'm talking about drinking a couple beers (read: 2-3), and driving.
were you not in highschool or college? have you never gone to a pro/simi-pro sporting event? hell, have you never gone to a company christmas party?
20 years ago, you get pulled over drunk, the cops would escort you home.

Yes I was in HS and college. I was in a fraternity. I imbibed in copious amounts of various alcohols and other forms of uplifting the senses. So? I also had enough common sense to know not to drive under the influence. I can't believe this is even an argument.
20 yrs ago the cops would escort you home? Are you serious? You do realize this time period was in the heyday of MADD right?
