Michael Vick and Fantasy Football advice
Hey people, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. I'm in a Fantasy Football League that's not rotisserie but head to head. Therefore, I wanted to know when I should draft Michael Vick now that he's injured. If I was in a Rotisserie League, he probably wouldn't even be my top 10 quarterback just because I know he won't be there all year. But in a Head to Head League, the best team at the end wins, regardless of how great you did all year! So in a 12 man league, which round do you think I should draft Michael Vick, if at all? I would appreciate all advices from good Fantasy Football players. Thanks.
I'd take him as a reserve after I had my starting QB, RB's, Rec's...depending on number of starters your league has at these positions. In my league it would be round 7, before I get a kicker or def.....I usually pick those late anyhow. In a second league I'm in we pick team QB's, so in a case like this you'd still have Johnson as a starter....maybe rd. 4 in that league.
i have michael vick on my fantasy football team as well. I am going to keep him (although people are offering some pretty nice trades). he's only going to be out 4 weeks or so (in terms of regular season match-ups), so after that, he should be good to go. (I think week 8 is a bye week for ATL).
Again, I'm trying to remember most of this off the top of my head, so I could be wrong about these numbers. I think as long as you have a decent set of players for other positions, you should be ok...just get a decent qb in the interim.
On a side note, I have Ricky Williams as my RB, so I him doing the majority of the workload
