Might have Carpal Tunnel, ever heard of this?
I've played with those gyro balls before... Its VERY tiring on your fore-arm..no clue as to its medicinal effects for carpal tunnel though.
One thing-- they are a pain in the A$$ to get going (spun up).

I have one of these gyro-balls and they work good for Carpal. In fact they are difficult to master because of getting them started and not havning enough strength, but once you do it a few min. per day for a couple of weeks it gets much easier. My forearms/wrists have gotten stronger and it helps with the blood flow in your wrist/hands.
